So Saturday was a warm day in the UK. I went for a beard trim (and Mrs W came along) and it finished early so we decided to walk on the South Bank. This then lead to stopping off at The Anchor for a Gin and some food (and getting out of the heat). Two gins later (Brockmans – again lovely – Mrs W had Rekordlig Apple Cider) it was decided to make it a drinking walk. The next pub was The Mudlark in Borough (had Ophir Gin – very nice). Lovely pub. Then The Horniman near Tower Bridge (they had the Botanist Gin). The last stop was Tthe Barvarian Beer House near Fenchurch Street station. No Gin but had a lovely stein and Mrs W had a German cider. All told it was a lovely walk and some great drinks. Also spent quality time with Mrs W before my work trip to ICANN59 in Johannesburg.
