The first ICANN meeting of the year is fast approaching (starts this weekend) in Copenhagen. So we are currently working on schedules, deciding which meetings to attend, when to meet clients and also when to meeting potential clients. I’m currently on the Pre-ICANN58 Policy Open House Session 1 being held by the ICANN policy teams. Interesting as always. Naturally the one I’m most interested in is the Subsequent Procedure (Next round) Working Group – this WG is working on looking at how the last round of the new gTLD’s applications went, what lessons can be learnt and how to move forward with regards the next round – should be starting again in late 2019 (fingers crossed). On the weather front – it looks like it will be bloody cold in Copenhagen next week – damn BUT I will still be doing to morning or evening runs.
